Q: Where is We Rise located?
A: 1262 Palmetto Street Los Angeles, CA 90013 in the heart of the Arts District in Downtown L.A.

Q: Is We Rise Free?
A: Yes, it is free and open to the public. Our hours are Weekdays from 5pm-10pm, Weekends from 10am-10pm and Memorial Day 10am-10pm.

Q: How long does it take to go through the exhibit?
A: Approximately 1 to 2 hours.

Q: Are guided tours of the gallery available?
A: Yes, we will have free tours led by trained docents available. Groups will congregate outside the main entry to the gallery space. If you have questions about guided tours or to make special arrangements, please contact info@werise.la.

Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: We welcome service animals. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

Q: Do you offer coat and stroller check?
A: We do not offer coat or stroller check. Strollers may be pushed through the exhibit.

Q: What is happening and where?
A: We have partnered with leading mental health and allied community organizations to produce over 80 hours of powerful artist panels, workshops, and live performances to help you learn, commune and turn ideas into action. All sponsored by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. Events on the Main Hall Stage and the Art Lab have limited capacity. Q: What additional resources are available to me?
A: We have credentialed mental health professionals stationed throughout the Gallery and in the Art Lab available for consultation and support.

Q: Are tickets required?
A: Yes, RSVP via Eventbrite is required, but all events are open to the public. Please RSVP to the relevant links on the event calendar here.

Q: What ages is the show suitable for?
A: The show is suitable for all ages. Children should be accompanied by an adult.

Q: What should I leave at home?
A: Weapons of any kind, illegal substance or paraphernalia, outside food/drinks, large umbrellas, and large backpacks. Although we are showing the work of graffiti and street artists, graffiti materials of any sort are not permitted; no markers, spray paint, inks, etc. We reserve the right to deny entry for items not listed here that will impede the enjoyment or the safety for you and other attendees. In general, we ask that you try to think how you can make your visit a positive experience for all.

Q: Is the show wheelchair accessible?

Q: Are there bathrooms?
A: Yes.

Q: Is food and drink allowed?
A: No outside food or drinks are allowed inside the exhibition.

Q: Will there be food and beverages sold at the event?
A: Complimentary snacks and drinks will be available for the public in the Community Hub. There will be a range of vegan and gluten free options as well.

Q: Can I take photos?
A: Yes, photography is allowed, however FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY IS NOT PERMITTED.

Q: Does WE RISE contain flash photography?
A: Although flash photography is prohibited, attendees with flash sensitivity should note that flash photography may take place in public spaces with advanced warning.

Q: Is re-entry allowed?
A: Re-entry is allowed only if space is available on the same day.

Q: What is the workshop style?
A: They are open and casual. All ages and learning styles are welcome to join us!

Q: Will there be translators?
A: We have translators and ASL interpreters available upon request. Please email info@werise.la to request.
