Event Engagement

Host locally-created art installations and guided tours of paintings, sketches, sculpture, graffiti/ street art and other media that speak to mental health.

Hold DIY workshops on art as an outlet for expression and advocacy around mental health. (These could include painting, collage, printmaking, dance, origami, visual jour-naling, mask making or other media.)

Invite families to come for a day of performance, touring the space and panel discussions.

Offer dance and/or spoken word sessions that encourage participation.

Hold a Teen Town Hall that includes local influencers, artists or activists and opens the floor for youth to problem-solve around creating a culture that fosters mental health.

Balance arts and mental health conversations with wellness breaks and outlets, such as yoga, meditation corners and 5-minute massages.
