TAKE ACTION May Mental Health Awareness Month

WE RISE 2021

Thank you for joining with us to make WE RISE 2021 an incredible success again this year. Created by the community for the community, WE RISE is an initiative of the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health that encourages wellbeing and healing through art, connection, community engagement and creative expression.

Taking place during May: Mental Health Awareness Month and as the region emerges from the isolation of the global pandemic and continues to grapple with related stressors and racial injustice, WE RISE 2021 included Art Rise, a series of 21 art experiences; Community Pop-Ups, 100+ hyperlocal activities held across Los Angeles County neighborhoods; and a robust Digital Experience, offering more than two dozen original programs accessible from anywhere.

Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, where we’ll continue to lift up our opportunities to rise together.

We can’t wait to see you for WE RISE 2022!
